The First Edition of «Great Chef Challenge Chartier Ribera del Duero & Cacao Barry»

March 15, 2016

The final round of the GREAT CHEF CHALLENGE RIBERA DEL DUERO CHARTIER AND CACAO BARRY was held on Sunday, March 15, 2015, at the Salon International des Vins et Spiritueux de Québec. This contest was an occasion for 59 professional chefs from Québec to create a dish inspired by the aromas of Chartier’s Spanish red, the Ribera del Duero*, as well as by the fine chocolates of Cacao Barry’s Origin range**. In this exclusive video, you’ll have a chance to go backstage during this culinary contest where food and wine pairing is the creative engine of every contestant. You’ll be able to see the three winning chefs in action: chefs Jean-François Robillard/ex-chef at Hôtel-Spa Wattel, Sainte-Agathe (1st prize Grand Winner), Guillaume Cantin/ex-chef at Les 400 coups, Montréal (2nd prize) and Giuseppe Saccheti/Cucina 753BT, chef at Boulangerie & Cie, Montréal (3rd prize).
